Arrive in the "Golden" city of Prague and meet your Gate 1 Tour Manager and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure in Prague, considered one of Europe's most attractive cities; its historic city center has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tonight, a briefing with your Tour Manager about the wonderful journey that awaits you, followed by a Welcome Drink with your fellow travelers

DAY 2 Wednesday, August 23, 2017
Prague city tour with afternoon free After breakfast, meet our Local Guide and driver for our morning tour. Leaving the bustle of the new town, drive up the hill to the historical area surrounding the Prague castle, and enter the fairytale complex of cobbled courtyards, churches and administrative buildings, once the court of the Bohemian Kings. Still the political center of the Czech Republic, this is where the Presidential Palace is located, complete with ceremonial guards. Visit the medieval Old Palace and the Cathedral of St. Vitus, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture, as well as the St. George Basilica and the Famous “Golden Lane”. The afternoon is at leisure.

Prague to Vienna via Cesky Krumlov After breakfast meet your touring coach driver and depart to Vienna. Drive through Southern Bohemia to Cesky Krumlov, a fairy-tale town with a maze of narrow cobbled streets. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992, Cesky Krumlov has earned an international reputation as a time capsule of the past. Enjoy a short walk through the town and view its Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance houses. Continue to Austria to arrive in Vienna, the former center of the Hapsburg Empire.

Morning tour of Vienna with afternoon at leisure Admire the Hofburg Palace, the former winter residence of the Habsburg Dynasty during your enthralling sightseeing tour of Vienna with your Local Specialist. See the grand State Opera House and the Ringstrasse, a beautiful sweeping boulevard built in the 19th century to replace the city walls. View St. Stephen's Cathedral, its ornate roof bearing the imperial emblem of the Habsburgs. Visit the beautiful Kunsthistorisches Museums. Sightseeing tour of Budapest with afternoon at leisure. Get acquainted with this diverse city on your tour that begins on the Pest side. This morning, enjoy a tour of medieval Krakow, where you will view the 16th century Wawel Royal Castle District. Visit the Jewish Quarter and view Oskar Schindler's factory. Continue to the Old Town and Market Square to view St. Mary's Church. In the afternoon drive to Warsaw with a stop at Auschwitz-Birkenau. Evening arrival.
